Hiring the Hall
Set in the picturesque countryside, Knowle Green Village Hall is an ideal venue for a wide range of events. The hall is suitable for community, family and business events from birthdays and parties, meetings, musical events to many more occasions.

Notes for Private Users:
- Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a completed booking form together with appropriate payment. Cheques to be made payable to: Knowle Green Village Hall.
- The premises are licensed as stated above. The Hall is NOT licensed for the sale of alcoholic beverages and should this be required, an occasional permission licence must be obtained from the Ribble Valley Licencing Authority.
If alcoholic beverages are included as part of the occasion, without payment, a licence may not be necessary.
- Arrangements should be made with the ‘Hall Hire Secretary’ about keys and the alarm system.
- On arrival, the emergency lighting should be turned on and remain on throughout the event. The switches are situated in the Bar Area and should be switched off before departure. It is important to see that ALL LIGHTS AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES ARE TURNED OFF.
- The hirer is responsible for locking up the premises after the event, turning down the central heating and switching ON the alarm system.
- In cases of emergency, the pay phone in the Hall can be used. Otherwise the nearest public telephone box is situated next to the Halls Arms which is approximately ½ mile on the main road towards Clitheroe.

- There is an emergency first aid kit in the Kitchen and disabled toilet which is available for your use, and a blanket and pillow in a bag in the cloakroom. Any accident MUST be entered into the accident book which is in the kitchen/bar area on the notice board.
- Should there be any breakages or any equipment NOT working, this should be entered into the maintenance book which is on the notice board near the telephone kiosk this will assist the committee in taking action.
- All groups are requested to leave the Hall and facilities in a clean and tidy manner.
